Avatar 3 Release Date ~ Fans will be wondering what will happen next for Pandora, given that Avatar 3 is now in production and Avatar: The Way of Water has just been released on Disney+. So, here is all that we have learned up to this point.
James Cameron, the film’s director, devoted several years after Avatar became the highest-grossing movie to developing this universe, with plans for four sequels. The first is scheduled to be released in 2022 and is titled Avatar: The Way of Water.
The passion for James Cameron’s Pandora is still going strong after the record-breaking success of Avatar 2, which has led to an all-time high level of enthusiasm for the upcoming film Avatar 3 and the many adventures that will follow it.
Two years after Avatar: The Way of Water was released in theatres, Disney has scheduled the release of Avatar 3, which will take place on December 20, 2024. Saldaa’s statements go counter to prior statements made by James Cameron, who said that Avatar 3 was “all shot,” and producer Jon Landau, who claimed they had shot “95%” of the movie, a far more significant percentage than the actress’s estimation.
It is anticipated that work on Avatar 3 will continue in 2024. The film’s lead, Sigourney Weaver, said she would return to the set in January to “do some pickups.” She also mentioned that there likely won’t be “whole new scenes to be shot,” but instead that she will be revisiting “a couple of moments.”
Fans already know 23 actors and characters who will feature in the threequel to Avatar, although it won’t be released for over a year. Alongside newcomers like David Thewlis and Michelle Yeoh, the ensemble includes the anticipated staples from previous installments.
