Keyphrase- Elon Musk On Pizza ~ Elon Musk is one person whether you like him or not but he is almost always in the news. Today, we are talking about his statement on proposed new rules of NYDEP on Pizza makers.

The new rules are going to affect those who love wood-fired-pizza and we guess Musk is also one such person. Before we talk about Musk’s statement, we should tell you what is the news..

New York City has a indifferent surprise for those who love wood-fired-pizza. The New York City Department of Environmental Protection has proposed new rules that will affect their Pizza taste. The city has issued new rules regarding reduction of carbon emissions by restaurant. The agency is trying to reduce carbon emission as low as by 75%.

The new rules have been issued on June 23. NYDEP said in an emailed statement,” All New Yorkers deserve to breathe healthy air and wood and coal-fired stoves are among the largest contributors of harmful pollutants in neighborhoods with poor air quality.”

” This common-sense rule, developed with restaurant and environmental justice groups, requires a professional review of whether installing emission controls is feasible,” It also added.

According to an estimate this will affect less than 100 restaurants in the city. While the city administration seem serious about reduction in carbon emission, many believe this is not going to help much. Tesla CEO Elon Musk is also of the opinion that this initiative’s effects are going to be limited.

He said,” Important to note that what happens on Earth’s surface (e.g. farming) has no meaningful impact on climate change,” the billionaire said. “Overwhelmingly, the risk of climate change is due to moving billions of tons of carbon from deep underground into the atmosphere.”

Musk said on the proposed new rules,” This is utter bs,” He said on Twitter,” It won’t make a difference to climate change.”
