“He was warned about this when he started dating her and again before marrying her.” It has now become talk of the town that his drinking habits are annoying to her and this led to think her about separation or even divorce.
Another source however disagreed and said that Vergara “could not have been more supportive” of her estranged husband’s sobriety over the years.
According to reports- Manganiello has been sober since the early 2000s and has been vocal about his former issues with alcohol abuse.
In a 2019 interview with Men’s Health, he talked about his struggle with alcohol.

The couple has decided to divorce after seven years of marriage. “We have made the difficult decision to divorce,” the pair, who wed in 2015, said in a joint statement.

“Modern Family” star is in Italy and enjoying her 51st birthday celebration there. She is not wearing her wedding ring in the photos with friends.
A source added: “Sofía and Joe have been growing apart for a while now and are taking some distance from each other to contemplate their future.”
The couple was last seen on the set of Manganiello’s project ‘Nonnas’.
