LOS ANGELES: Lisa Marie Presley’s death cause has been revealed on Thursday. Lisa Marie Presley was 54 when she died on 12 January this year. Cause of her death was a small bowel obstruction, authorities reported.
Lisa was the singer, songwriter and heir of great Elvis Presley. Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner records ruled that her death was due to natural causes.
Autopsy report is yet to be released. Associated Press reported that an autopsy report would include more details in to this.
Lisa died at a city hospital. She had been taken to the hospital by paramedics responding to a 911 call. At that time, no details was given about what cause her death.
She was buried on 22 of January at Graceland. Graceland is the home where Lisa lived with her father as a child. It has become a museum and a tourist attraction for Elvis fans around the world.
Associated Press reported that immediate aftermath of her death was a family dispute over Presley’s estate. Just four days after her funeral, her mother Priscilla Presley filed court documents disputing a 2016 amendment to Lisa Marie Presley’s living trust that removed Priscilla Presley and a former business manager as trustees and replaced them with her two eldest children.
