Brad Pitt Angelina Jolie Divorce ~ The battle between rosé wines rages on. New allegations have been made by Brad Pitt against Angelina Jolie about the vineyard that the two of them once co-owned.
According to CBS News, which examined the records, the case was filed on June 1, and it accuses Jolie of seeking “to seize profits she had not earned and returns on an investment she did not make.” After that, Pitt describes the acts of his ex-wife as “vindictive.”
The legal battle over Jolie’s sale of shares in the Chateau Miraval Winery dates back to October 2021, when she made a deal with Tenute del Mondo. Although Tenute del Mondo is owned by the Luxembourg-based company Stoli, it is controlled by Yuri Shefler, described in Pitt’s legal documents as “an oligarch in the Russian Federation.”
According to Pitt’s assertion, Shefler had previously tried to purchase Pitt, but he was unsuccessful. Shefler has citizenship in Russia, the United Kingdom, and Israel, and he now resides in Switzerland with his wife, Tatiana Kovylina, who was a model for Victoria’s Secret. Tatiana Kovylina is a former Victoria’s Secret model.
In the new document, Pitt says that making wine has become his “passion” and that under his leadership and that of partner Marc Perrin, the winery has grown into a “multimillion-dollar global business and one of the world’s most highly regarded makers of rosé wine.”
Pitt’s goal is to prevent the sale, which he claims he learned about from the press. (Even in 2013, the study conducted by V.F. provided a positive assessment of the rosé produced by Miraval, stating that “They’re not celebrity vintners; Brad and Angelina are real vintners.”)
In addition, Pitt asserts that according to their divorce petition, parties would only sell their interests in Miraval after first obtaining the agreement of the other.
In addition, according to the papers that Pitt has, when the couple first broached the topic of divorce in 2017, Jolie said that she would “take what she put in.” According to Pitt’s version of events, he was the one who “invested money and sweat equity into the home and business.”
V.F. has attempted to contact representatives of the Pitt and Jolie families for more comment but has yet to receive a response to these inquiries.
The Chateau Miraval property includes a private residence, a sound recording studio, and a vineyard. The couple held a long-term lease on the 1,200-acre estate beginning in 2008, but in 2012, they acquired it for $60 million. (Brad Pitt Angelina Jolie Divorce)
Olive orchards, pine woods, fountains, a private lake, a moat, and a helicopter pad are just some of the older features that can be found on the grounds located in Correns, France, on an ancient Roman route. Some of the buildings on the property date back to the 17th century. (That was something that was added more subsequently, of course.) It is generally agreed that Saint Thomas Aquinas made a trip to Miraval in 1252.
Jacques Loussier’s recording studio, which he constructed on the premises, is not only a place where one may record a demo. Pink Floyd (while they were working on The Wall), Elton John, Sting, Bryan Ferry, Shirley Bassey, Courtney Love, Belinda Carlisle, Morrissey, Steve Winwood, Queen, Wham!, Muse, the Gipsy Kings, AC/DC, the Cranberries, Rammstein, the Cure, Judas Priest, and Yes are some of the legendary musicians who have recorded there.
You can see why this is so controversial when you consider that Sade recorded “The Sweetest Taboo” there. For heaven’s sake!
After several years of inactivity, Pitt and producer Damien Quintard announced that Pitt will resume operations at the studio in 2021. A few weeks ago, photographs taken inside were labeled “work in progress” on Instagram.
The Pitt-Jolie divorce case was kicked off on September 19, 2016, when she submitted the necessary papers, and it has been dragging on ever since then. (Here, for your perusal, is a complete accounting.)
