“Parting is such sweet sorrow,” the 54-year-old actress from “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” said on her Instagram Story on Friday, July 7, beside a shot of trees that she has since removed when she was in Aspen, Colorado.
At a later time, Richards confirmed the post’s purpose. In response to Page Six’s official Instagram post about her picture from Colorado, she commented, “This was in regards to having to leave Aspen! deleted.”
Her piece was posted online on the third day after the couple had celebrated the Fourth of July in Aspen with two of their four children, namely Portia, 15, and Alexia, 27. The couple’s daughter, Sophia, who is now 23, is also their kid. Richards’ oldest child, Farrah, who is now 34, has a joint custody arrangement with her ex-husband, Guraish Aldjufrie.
“Have a safe and happy Fourth of July. I hope that today is going well for everyone. Umansky, who is 53 years old, provided the captions for a display of photographs and videos on Tuesday, July 4. One of the images included him and Richards standing with their dog. Umansky is seen wearing his wedding band in the sweet picture of him.
Us Weekly revealed earlier this month that the pair, who had tied the knot in 1996, had divorced after a marriage that lasted for 27 years. On Monday, July 3, a reliable source said in an exclusive interview that Kyle and Mauricio “are amicable while they figure out the next steps”; according to the same source, the two “have been separated for a while, but are still currently living together.”
In the last hours of the same day, Richards made it clear on Instagram that even though she and Umansky had decided to go their separate ways, they did not want to get a divorce.
Based on the facts disclosed today about us, she said in her post on Monday that any rumors of our split are untrue. That said, it has been a challenging year and the most difficult year of our marriage. On the other hand, we have a tremendous amount of love and respect for one another.
