Robert De Niro Romance Tiffany Chen ~ Robert De Niro and Tiffany Chen fell in love on the set of the hit movie “The Intern.” Tiffany is a martial art instructor. She welcomed her daughter Gia with De Niro earlier this year.
She shared that initially it was all professional but after some time they just fell in love and started their romance.
“When we were working, it was just work,” she told Gayle King on “CBS Mornings” Friday.
“And then a couple of years later, we got back in touch, and I said, ‘Oh, I guess we get along, and I guess we really get along.’”
In the movie “The Intern”, Chen played a small role. It was a comedy movie about a retired old man joining a job as an intern. The retired old man character Ben Whittaker was played by Robert De Niro. De Niro is 79 years of age while Chen is 45.
It is to note that while filming of the movie De Niro was still with his second wife, Grace Hightower. They separated in 2018. Acclaimed actor De Niro and Chan quietly welcomed their daughter on April 6. This is De Niro’s seventh child and Chen’s first.
De Niro broke this news when a reporter called him a “father of six”, he immediately corrected and said,”Seven, actually. I just had a baby.”
It is reported that both the coupled wanted the baby and they’re very happy. They have been romantically linked since 2021.
Robert De Niro is divorced twice. He is also the father of Drena, 51, and Raphael, 46, with Diahnne Abbott, as well as twins Aaron and Julian, 27, with Toukie Smith. Additionally, he shares Elliot, 25, and Helen, 11, with Hightower.
De Nero became grandparent in 2004. His 19 year old grandson Leandro tragically died ealier this month. He was sad with the news of his grandson’s demise. “I’m deeply distressed by the passing of my beloved grandson Leo,” De Niro told the media.
He added, “We’re greatly appreciative of the condolences from everyone. We ask that we please be given privacy to grieve our loss of Leo.”
