The Idol Music ~ TWO BRAND-NEW SONGS FROM THE SHOW HAVE RECENTLY BEEN MADE AVAILABLE IN ADVANCE OF THE NEXT EPISODE OF THE IDOL ON HBO.

Abel “The Weeknd” Tesfaye and Sam Levinson, the creators of Euphoria, have collaborated to create a controversial new show that recounts a twisted story about a pop singer portrayed by Lily-Rose Depp.

First up is a performance of “World Class Sinner/I’m a Freak” and “The Lure (Theme Score),” both of which are sung by Depp in their respective roles as the fictitious singer Jocelyn, who is at the center of the production.

Both were included in the first episode of the series, which followed Jocelyn and her team as they prepared for a dramatic return after Jocelyn had suffered a nervous breakdown.

The Weeknd announced the forthcoming tracks on Wednesday. These songs will be included in a completely original soundtrack for the show that the Weeknd had intended to release after the current season concluded.

He posted the following on Instagram: “I’m too hyped.” “Instead, I want to release new music from the show every week in conjunction with the episode,” he said. I can’t wait for you guys to hear what we’ve been working on and for you to meet all of these fantastic artists who will be a part of this program.

According to a story by Rolling Stone, The Idol has been at the epicenter of controversy for some time now. The show’s premiere date has been continually pushed back, and afterward, the producers have been accused of maintaining a toxic work environment.

After eventually making its debut at Cannes, the idea was met with reviews that were either unfavorable or mixed due to the show’s hollow sleaze.

David Fear of Rolling Stone said that the first two episodes of the show that were played at the festival gave the impression that they were “nasty, brutish, much longer than it is, and way, way worse than you’d have anticipated.” ~ The Idol Music
