Brie Larson lingerie inspired gown ~ Brie Larson has adopted a quite different kind of fashion. She wore a racy red underboob-baring lingerie-inspired Rodarte gown in her latest Instagram post and fans are going wild in her comments section.
Larson, 33, shared the hotel room photo on Wednesday with the caption “Taller than anticipated,” as she touches the ceiling while standing atop a white linen-laden bed in a slinky crimson gown with an ab-baring black lace cut-out tied together with a simple string.
While her fiery hue certainly popped — with tons of fans referring to the Marvel star as a sexy “lady in red” — the crimson color doesn’t appear to be available to shop.
However, a black version of the slinky, lace-trimmed slip dress is currently on sale for $638 (originally $1,595) for those who want to channel their inner superhero.
Despite the red carpet-ready glamorous gown, Brie appeared to be bare-faced and even ditched the viral bra she recently touted for the impromptu photoshoot.
One fan asked the newly single action star, “why is this disney’s grand californian hotel and spa?”
The Anaheim hotel rooms do have the same painted tree in the background, so it’s likely Larson was sharing vacation photos. One fan responded approvingly with, “girlie loves disney.”
Others simply couldn’t get over the drop-dead gorgeous look. “THIS DRESS” one fan raved as another told the Oscar winning actress, “YOU WEAR RED SO PERFECTLY.”
Rodarte shared the snap on its brand’s own Instagram page, though not everyone in the comments section approved of the lingerie turned ensemble, with one writing, “No. It’s a nightie, albeit a nice one.”
The “Avengers: Endgame” star has been supporting Rodarte for years. Larson sat front and center at the 2019 fashion show in Los Angeles and attended the premiere of her movie “Captain Marvel” that same year in a stunning, star-spangled nude gown from the designers, sisters Kate and Laura Mulleavy.
The LA-based brand boasts a whole slew of celebrity fans, including singer Rita Ora, “Clueless” actress Alicia Silverstone, Kendall Jenner, Selena Gomez, Kiernan Shipka, Lili Reinhart and more.
It remains to be seen who will dare take the “nightie” out into the daylight.
